Massed Choirs Concert Friday Afternoon's in Bury St Edmunds

Venue: St Edmundsbury Cathedral

Come and share in the massed children's choir workshop performance in the beautiful setting of St Edmundsbury Cathedral. 250 children from four local schools will perform the pieces they have learnt over the preceeding weeks, alongside St Edmundsbury Cathedral choirs. Also, attendees will be treated to a performance on the amazing cathedral organ! This informal concert is free to attend.

Explore Vivaldi’s Gloria with Holbrook Choral Society and

The Come and Sing Company!

As part of an exciting new partnership, Holbrook Choral Society and CASC are coming together to delve deeper into the history and performance possibilities of Vivaldi’s famous and iconic Gloria.

CASC will be offering a number of sessions enabling members old and new to learn more about this fabulous work.

Venue: Royal Hospital School, Ipswich

Event: Join RHS Director of Music William Saunders and Associates of CASC in an introduction to Vivaldi’s Gloria. Hear professional singers of the highest standard perform excerpts of the work.  Be inspired by their interpretation and realise the beauty and drama of this masterpiece.

Event: Enjoy a fascinating lecture on the origins of the Gloria and its relationship with Vivaldi’s Ostra Picta. As part of the evening, the work will be performed by CASC co-founder Elenor Bowers-Jolley.
