We love to work with educators to create projects that really fit the bill! Whether we’re helping students flashmob the school canteen, creating a Musical in a Day, using music to help shape Young Leaders, delivering 1-1 and group sessions with SEN children, providing vocal technique sessions to individuals, choirs and musical theatre stars, or simply helping with some staff CPD, we’re always open to discussions about how we can help your school maximise its musical offering.

Community singing

Our education work often puts health and wellbeing, nature, science, arts and musical inspiration at their core. ‘The Journey to the Ugly Bug Ball’ is a project that ranges from a 1 day workshop to an 11 week programme where children are encouraged to sing, craft and explore the natural world before putting on performances in playgrounds, woods, parks or gardens. In 2021 we are delivering a number of ‘world music’ projects to coincide with the Olympics, and of course we are on hand to deliver large scale ‘Big Sing’ events as communities are able to come back together – with one voice!

We were delighted to be appointed ‘Lead Delivery Partners for Vocal Strategy’ at Norfolk Music Education Hub in April 2020. We work extensively with a number of other Music Hubs such as Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Music on Sea (Southend). In 2019, we presented at the Music Mark Annual Conference on the importance of Hubs working in partnership and ‘Rapunzel the Lockdown Panto’ saw us working with more than 200,000 children from all over the U.K.

To help us with our delivery, we have our own portable equipment including a PA system, electric piano, microphones, cameras etc and we are well used to working in single classrooms, school halls and playing fields. 2020 saw us delivering a number of projects remotely and we are able to offer live streams and broadcasts too. Wherever you are, we can help you come together in song.

“We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ellie Bowers Jolley in 2018 and 2023. Ellie designed and facilitated fun, vocal workshops with a number of our community groups from all over County Wexford with the HSE Mental Health Services and The Arts Ability Programme in Co Wexford.”

“The Arts Ability Programme is an inclusive, participatory arts programme that celebrates the artistic and creative imagination of people who experience mental health problems and/or intellectual, physical or sensory disabilities.”

“The programme is administered through Wexford Mental Health Association and run in close partnership between the HSE Mental Health Services. The programme explores the role of music in mental health recovery for individuals attending community mental health services and those in residential settings in County Wexford. Access to the programme is by referral from the HSE Mental Health Services.”

“The programme embraces partnerships with community musicians and professional artists on a regular basis, and Ellie was a big hit with all of our clients! She had a warm, encouraging, professional temperament with the groups and clients are still talking about the new and exciting repertoire they learned in the workshops. She was engaging, inspiring, patient and motivating with all group members. Both visits from Ellie exceeded all expectations and we really hope to work with her in the future.”

– Emily Redmond, Music Exploration Officer at Wexford County Council

“I was nervous before I attended Ellies workshop but she instantly put me at ease and I felt comfortable and at ease trying new songs and warm ups. I have learned to love my voice and it was such an uplifting experience singing with the group and learning so much from Ellie. A brilliant, fun experience which I would love to do again.”
